“a long lost love interest, she left me after 4 years and didn't really say why, hasn;'t talke to me since, but in my heart, i miss her”

In that old café light, where shadows entwine,
We lingered like autumn and hesitant wine—
Four years spun golden, a delicate thread
That wound us together, then quietly shed.

You left as the morning left dew on the lawn:
A glimmer, then gone with the promise of dawn.
No letter, no reason, just silence instead—
An absence that echoed the words never said.

I walk through our seasons in memory’s haze:
Your laughter like sunlight in long summer days,
Your touch like December—the warmth at my spine,
Now faded to chill in the dark wintertime.

Sometimes I imagine the why or the where—
A note in your pocket, a wind in your hair—
But answers are ghosts in the stacks of my mind,
And all that I hold is the ache left behind.

Yet nightly, you visit the hush of my dreams,
A shimmer, a shadow, that drifts through the seams.
Though time weaves its distance and silence above,
A space in my heart is reserved for your love.
