“Always shall I love thee with every fiber of my veins”

Always shall I love thee—deep as roots that cleave
To earth unseen, in silence yet unshaken—
Thy name, a gentle current, nightly weaves
Through chambers of this heart, where vows awaken.

With every fiber of my veins—each thread
A filament of longing laced with light—
Devotion sings in crimson rivers spread
Beneath my skin, a chorus out of sight.

No morning breaks that does not bear thy face
In golden hush, in hope’s inviting hue.
No shadow falls but finds its swift erase
Within the warmth I only find in you.

Should years dissolve as footprints on the shore,
My love remains—unchanging evermore.
