“Angels guiding your way”

When twilight edges day with silent gold,
And shadows curl in question ‘round your feet,
Soft-winged, unseen, their quiet presence told
By gentle whispers where earth and heaven meet.

There is a hush—a sigh behind the air,
A touch you cannot see but sense is true;
In darkest valleys, kindness lingers there,
A lamp of hope the night cannot undo.

They guide you subtly—feather-light, yet strong—
In laughter’s echo, in a mother’s hand,
A sudden courage when you face the wrong,
Or comfort only restless hearts understand.

Sometimes their beauty glimmers on the breeze—
A shaft of sun that warms you in the rain,
A songbird chiming through the tangled trees,
Or faith that folds your worry back to plain.

You need not see them, yet you’ll always know:
On winding roads that twist and turn—to stray—
Above, beside, wherever you may go,
There walk the angels, guiding all your way.
