“Earth's internal heat”
Beneath our feet, a furnace glows unseen,
A restless heart, where ancient fires convene—
The planet’s forge, a molten, surging sea
That stirs the crust, and dreams of what will be.
Within the depths where granite veils grow thin,
The mantle dances, churning from within.
Its currents twist with secrets, hot and bold,
And granite whispers stories yet untold.
Primeval warmth, from birth by cosmic dust,
From colliding stones and iron’s fiery trust,
Still lingers in the core’s relentless spin—
A dynamo that keeps the life within.
Volcanoes breathe the planet’s molten rage;
Their scarlet fountains etch upon the page
The living text of continents and seas—
New land is born on pillows in the breeze.
Geysers sing, and hissing fumaroles
Reveal the fever hidden in the shoals;
While deep below, tectonic plates embrace,
Transforming mountain, ocean, time, and place.
O internal heat, you turn this blue sphere’s days
From icy tomb to home of blooming blaze;
In you, the seeds of continents are sown—
Earth’s burning soul, alive beneath the stone.
