“God's epic battle against Satan”

Upon the highest, star-swept dome,
Before the dawn of time begun,
The thunder of a battle roamed—
A war no mortal eye has won.

God, vast beyond all realms of light,
Arrayed with truth and ageless grace,
His voice, a melody of right,
His gaze—eternity’s embrace.

Against Him rose the fallen star,
Lucifer, proud, with wings aflame,
Once cloaked in glory from afar,
Now shamed, defiant, dark with blame.

The heavens shuddered as they strove,
Lightning coursed through endless space,
Angelic choirs watched and wove
Their hymns of hope, their songs of grace.

Great Michael stood at God’s command,
His sword ablaze with holy fire,
And all the hosts took up their stand
To cast the Tempter from the choir.

A trumpet’s call! A clash! A cry—
The silence fractured, shadows fled.
On wings of night the foe would fly,
But into darkness he was led.

And so, the halls of heaven shine,
Where peace and justice brightly dwell.
Yet still, within each heart and mind,
The echoes of that struggle swell.

For God is victor, mercy crowned,
Yet bids us join the good and true—
To lift the fallen from the ground,
And walk with light in all we do.
