“Happy birthday Ed. Best uncle around. Loves his garden. Hates the rabbits eating from the garden”

Happy birthday, dear Uncle Ed!
Garden hat perched on your head—
You stroll through rows of tomatoes high,
Your laughter tumbling with dragonflies.

Best uncle around, with your sun-browned hands,
Turning tulip bulbs in fertile lands.
Peppers and pumpkins, vines entwined,
Your gentle wisdom, heart and mind.

But oh! The rabbits—hop, hop, hop—
They never seem to know when to stop!
Nibbling lettuce, stealing a pea,
You stand with a shake of your fist—oh, mercy me!

Yet every year, your garden grows,
Despite the bunnies and their woes.
We gather near as candles gleam,
For birthdays, cake, and summer dreams.

So here’s to Ed, with laughter shared,
The garden king—no rabbit spared!
May your harvest always overflow,
And may your birthday candles glow.
