“Tim and Shelly I loved the visit, beating you at cards and the relaxing boat ride”

Tim and Shelly, what a pair,
With laughter floating through the air—
I loved our visit, every part,
A weekend written on my heart.

Around your table, cards in hand,
We played our games—I took my stand!
With grins and groans and playful pride,
It felt so good when Fortune’s tide
Picked me, just once, to claim the win—
Yet joy’s in stories we begin.

The sun was soft, the breezes light,
On gentle waves, our cares took flight.
The boat ride’s peace—wide water’s gleam—
Made time drift by as in a dream.
We watched the ripples chase the sky,
And let the world go gliding by.

Tim’s big laugh, Shelly’s smile,
Friendship shining all the while.
I treasure every joke we made,
Each golden hour that would not fade.

Thank you both, so dear to me—
For laughter, peace, and company.
Until next time, may memories float
Like sunlight skipping on your boat.
